Dartmouth Smoked Oak

Dartmouth Smoked Oak from Woodpecker Flooring is a 15 mm engineered oak plank floor, UV-oiled, hand-scraped and antiqued to reveal deep colour contrasts, undulating grain and shadowed knots. Micro-bevels on all four edges frame each board’s rustic surface, giving the appearance of time-worn timber while retaining modern strength.

Boards measure 1900 mm × 190 mm and are supplied tongue-and-grooved in packs of six (one plank is pre-cut for easier staggering), covering 2.166 m² per pack. Installation options include floating, secret-nailing or full adhesion, and the floor is approved for water-based under-floor heating when glued.

Classified “Hard” with an Extra-Rustic grade, visible saw marks and a low 1.13 tog value, Dartmouth Smoked Oak balances authentic, character-rich aesthetics with day-to-day resilience.
