Wool Tweed
Wool Tweed by Alternative Flooring is a tufted, tightly looped fine wool carpet made with 100% wool yarn and a recycled PET backing. It’s suitable for bedrooms, dining rooms, lounges, stairs, hallways and home offices, with the range also suitable for commercial use, and it can be used for rugs and runners.
Across the range, it’s available in 4 m and 5 m widths (+/- 1.5%). The pile weight is 1200 g/m², and the total weight is 2750 g/m², using a 3-ply yarn. Total height is 8.3 mm with a 5 mm pile height, and the TOG rating is 1.28.
It is dyed, moth resistant and anti-static, with vacuuming recommended for routine care. It has a Bfl-s1 fire rating and a light fastness rating of 5–6. The primary backing is CLW, installation is conventional fitting, and contract suitability is shown as Class 23 (Heavy Domestic) and Class 33 (Heavy Contract).
