Orkney Collection By Woodpecker Flooring
Orkney is Woodpecker’s extra-rustic engineered-oak block range for herringbone and chevron layouts. Each UV-oiled piece is 90 mm × 400 mm, 15 mm thick with a 4 mm wear layer bonded to a plywood core, bevelled on all four edges and finished by hand-scraping plus light saw marks.
Packs contain 36 blocks (1.296 m², some pre-cut) and must acclimatise sealed and flat for three–four days before fitting over a dry, level sub-floor. Tongue-and-groove joints allow floating, secret-nailing or full bonding; for water-based under-floor heating the floor must be glued down (tog 1.13).
